Raine added to the Giants’ blueline
Belfast Giants signed Kevin Raine for the season 2017/18 Elite League .
The 24-year-old defenseman joins the Florida Everblades Giants of ECHL.
Raine made his professional debut in 2013 with the Portland Pirates of the AHL before being invited to the NHL Recruit Camp and the Los Angeles Kings Training Camp in 2014
Raine's solid game earned him a place within the Kings organization within forming their affiliate, Manchester Monarchs, of the AHL. In his first professional season, he won the Calder Cup with Kings.
In 2015-2016, Raine joined Ontario Reign before dividing last year with Charlotte Checkers and finally the Everblades.
Adam keefe, the boss of the Giants, said: "Kevin is my type of player, he will be competing every night for the Giants and he will throw hard shots, so our opponents will have to keep their heads high when he is on the ice in the SSE this season.
"He skates very well and is solid at both ends of the ice. I think fans will love this guy. "
