Successful junior camps for GB
The last British junior camps were held this week with GB U20s and GB U18s having on and off-ice sessions in Sheffield.
Great Britain under 18, led by head coach Jeff Hutchins, took a gymnastic test in the morning, followed by two ice sessions.
Hutchins said, "I think it was a productive camp, we had the opportunity to test the fitness of the guys to get an idea of their fitness level.
"The guys worked hard and that gave us another chance to see new guys.
"I think the Christmas camp is really going to determine who is serious about the team.
"I look forward to following the progress of the guys at the beginning of their respective seasons."
Meanwhile, the U20s of GB held their camp on Wednesday and they also had a morning gym session and two training sessions at Ice Sheffield later in the day.
Head coach Slava Kulikov said: "It was very helpful to see the guys on the ice and off the ice.
"We had great training sessions and the players are really competing for the places."
