Dundee Stars re-sign duo ahead of 2019/20 season
Dundee stars have re-signed Matt Marquardt and Kris Inglis before the 2019/20 season.
Marquardt will be back in the club for the second consecutive season after two seasons in the Elite League with Coventry Blaze and Sheffield Steelers.
The 31-year-old Canadian winger was the Stars' top scorer last season, scoring 29 goals and 24 more.
Manager Omar Pasha said, "I'm delighted to find Matt, I think he's an excellent leader for the team and he's done a lot of good things on the ice and I'm sure to Expect that it will be even better this year.
"As a guy, he adds credibility to the team, on and off the ice. He was one of our key guys.
"I think that with an organization like ours, which is growing, it's essential to keep a guy like that.
"When you have younger guys or a few rookie team, it's good to surround them with leaders, Mags is obviously one of them."
Inglis signs again for the Stars, member of the club since the season 2016/17.

Despite serious injuries for most of his club career, Pacha is happy to sign a new product from the club's academy.
