Koulikov set for change in final showdown
Peterborough Phantoms coach Slava Koulikov says there are a couple of things he is looking to tweak as his team prepares for the return leg of the NIHL National Cup final against the Telford Tigers.
The Phantoms lag behind 6-4 after the first leg last Friday as they make their way to the Telford ice rink, seeking to reverse the trend to win the first trophy of the season in the top category. NIHL.
And Kulikov insisted that he was satisfied with Friday's performance despite the result which does not go in his direction and would be satisfied with a similar display.
"We have to fix a couple of things from Friday," he said. "Overall five-on-five, we had some of the best chances and maybe we should have scored one or two more goals.
"Our special teams could have been better, especially on the power play, because we didn't create much. We have identified it and it is up to the players now.
