Russell looking forward to home comforts
Britain's men's coach Pete Russell said the winter Olympic home qualifying tournament was a good thing as his team prepared for their first game.
GB will face Romania in its opening match this evening (Thursday) as they start on their path which could potentially lead to the Beijing games in 2022.
For Russell, this is the first time he has found his team after last year's world championships in Slovakia and he is happy with his team.
"It's great to be back home and great to see the guys again," he said. "I haven't seen them in a while, but I think we have a good team.

"There is a good atmosphere, but it was very fast because we really only have three sessions before starting.
“It was difficult to choose a team of 22 men, especially at the bottom of the range and there were some difficult choices.
"I like the team and there are new songs out there and they all get along well, which is important.
"Whatever the home tournament is, it's a good thing is great. Fans have a chance to watch some of the best players in the country play.
"It doesn't happen all the time and the association has done a great job. We need to make sure we do our job well against three tough teams and see where we're going . "
